    Services Performed
    • Change engine oil & filter, check tire pressures, inspect and top off fluids, inspect engine air filter & cabin air filter, lubricate chassis (if applicable)
    • Scanned Vehicle for DTCs, the Following Codes were Found: P0345 – Camshaft Position Sensor A Bank 2, and P0349 – Camshaft Position Sensor A Intermittent Bank 2 Found the Vehicle's Engine Oil Level very low, it was barely showing up on the dipstick. Performed an Engine Crankcase Oil Flush Procedure due to this and due to the Camshaft Codes that were found. After the Flushing Procedure, the codes came back, and it was found that the Variable Valve Timing Solenoid on Bank 2 was not performing. After removing the valve cover to replace the Solenoid, it was found that the Camshaft Phaser had broken, and a piece of it was floating around behind the Timing Cover. Due to the possibility of metal fragments being inside the engine's crankcase, and unknown internal engine damage that may have already occurred, it was decided with the customer to halt any further work at this time.
    • Other than the above mention engine issues, the following items have been found: The engine's oil pan is leaking oil, the front timing seal at the harmonic balancer is leaking oil, the front brake rotors are very warped and pulsating, the driver side front lower ball joint is loose, the driver side front sway bar end link is loose (both should be replaced)
